Tooth Whitening

Bleaching or tooth whitening is an alternative to crowns or veneers where the shade of the teeth is undesirable. We use a variety of products either as an in surgery supervised tray system which is completed within hours without you having the bother of having to do the bleaching at home over a period of 10 or more days or as an at home system using a slightly weaker concentration, many patients find this a preferable method as they can monitor the degree of lightening themselves and stop when they are happy with the result. Finally we also offer the light activated method which is more suitable if only a few selected teeth need to be lightened to match the others or you want an instant result. This method also tends to achieve whiter results than the others above and also less sensitivity.
