Oral Cancer!Mouth cancer awareness week was in November and reminded us that 1700 adults die each year from this disease, a similar number to those who die from cervical cancer. You may not be aware but we routinely carry out an examination for suspicious areas as part of your check-up. If there are any areas of concern you will be asked to return for these to be checked after a short period and if they have not resolved you will be referred to a specialist.
